The Secret Airports Taylor Swift, Brad Pitt and Elon Musk all Love

Adam Gray from Supercar Blondie – Reports

  • Aircraft-tracking site JetSpy compiled data earlier this month to create a list of the most popular secret airports in the US.
  • These secret airports are favored by celebrities who don’t like sharing tarmac with the public at major airports.
  • Instead, they’re not-so-quietly taking off and landing in their own private jets at small airfields across the US

Not only do the wealthiest celebrities prefer to fly private, they don’t even like sharing tarmac with the public at major airports. Instead, they go about their business taking off and landing in their private jets at secret airports.

Interestingly, aircraft-tracking site JetSpy compiled data earlier this month to create a list of the most popular secret airports in the US.

Sitting just north outside of Manhattan is Westchester County Airport.

Constructed during World War II as a base for the Air National Guard, today it caters for celebrities with homes in the leafy northern sections of the county, as well as neighboring Connecticut.

The Los Angeles-based airfield is a welcoming place for a host of celebrities, with the likes of Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Jay-Z all jetting in and out of the secret airport. Just imagine minding your own business and then catching a glimpse of Taylor Swift’s ‘Number 13’ private jet, worth an estimated $40 million.

Van Nuys Airport rings in with 28,424 landings.

3. Dallas Love Field

It may be the region’s smallest airport, but Dallas Love Field is famously the main Southwest hub, with 31,854 dockings altogether. It’s also where ‘Shark Tank’ businessman, Mark Cuban, parks up his private jet, with the reality star being based in the area.

2. Palm Beach International Airport

This sought-after Florida jetport serves the very wealthy in Palm Beach. Coming in at second place with 33,803 landings, local resident and former President Donald Trump knows it well.

1. Teterboro Airport

Just 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan, along Route 17 in New Jersey, lies Teterboro Airport.

The hotspot is the most popular site for private jets in the Tri-State, with A-listers such as Bon Jovi, Brad Pitt and Elon Musk all experiencing their fair share of landings here. The latter is rumored to own a jaw-dropping private jet fleet worth over $100 million.
