Gulfstream G800: The Jet That Redefines Ultra long-Range Excellence
Gulfstream Aerospace has delivered the very first G800 executive jet, marking the beginning of a new era in private aviation. Boasting unmatched range, speed, and cabin luxury, this jet is an industry game-changer—and Sentinel Aviation is proud to bring its capabilities to discerning travellers worldwide.
Certifications & Delivery
In April 2025, the G800 earned both FAA and EASA certification, clearing the runway for entry into service in the U.S. and Europe. Gulfstream has already delivered the first customer jet, signalling strong momentum and programme maturity.
Performance & Range
Maximum range: Up to 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 km) at Mach 0.85.
High-speed cruise: 7,000 nm (12,964 km) at Mach 0.90; also capable of 8,000 nm at Mach 0.87.
Top speed: Reaches Mach 0.935, making it one of the fastest business jets on the market.
This superlative performance allows nonstop global reach — fly from New York to Johannesburg or Tokyo to London without a pause. At high cruise speeds over 6,500 nm flights, owners can shave up to 1.5 hours off travel time compared to Mach 0.80 jets.
Cabin Comfort & Amenities
Layouts: Configurable with up to 4 living areas—including lounges, bedroom suites, and crew rest — seating up to 19 passengers, with sleeping accommodations for up to 10.
Cabin altitude: Maintains an ultra-low 2,840 ft elevation even at 41,000 ft, significantly reducing passenger fatigue.
Air quality: Offers 100% fresh air, refreshed every 2–3 minutes through a plasma-ionization purification system.
Windows: Features 16 panoramic oval windows, the largest in any private jet, flooding the cabin with natural light.
Luxury fixtures: Optional full bathroom with shower, galley, executive suites—or cinema-inspired lounge areas, all tailored to client preference.
Avionics & Pilot Experience
The G800 is equipped with the Symmetry Flight Deck, featuring active sidesticks, 10 touchscreens, and Phase-of-Flight intelligence that simplify operations and reduce pilot workload.
Safety is elevated with:
Combined Vision System (CVS)—merging enhanced and synthetic vision into one streamlined display.
Predictive Landing Performance System for runway excursion prevention.
Head-up displays for better situational awareness and expanded airport access
Legacy & Market Position
The G800 succeeds the G650 series, offering similar cabin dimensions but packed with advanced systems, new wings (from the G700), and Pearl 700 engines.
First flight occurred in June 2022, with client deliveries finally starting August 2025.
Airbus priced at $72–75 million, the G800 sets a new benchmark for operational excellence and luxury aviation.
For ultra-discerning clients—on business, exploration, or executive travel—nothing matches the G800’s blend of distance, pace, comfort, and cutting-edge design.
