The exclusive ski resort of Courchevel 1850 has it own altiport at 2,008m altitude, and is the shortest runway in the world, and the highest tarmacked runway in Europe.

Aspen
Aspen/Pitkin County Airport is just 3 miles from the town of Aspen, 6 miles from Snowmass Village, and is the most luxurious Aspen airport. However, there are three others, namely Eagle County Airport, Grand Junction Regional Airport and Denver International Airport (DIA)
Vail
Vail’s closest airport is Eagle County Regional Airport. There are more than a dozen ski areas within a few hours drive of Vail, most notably Aspen, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Vail and Winter Park.
