This luxury villa is set out over four floors, and the building boasts one of the most luxurious leisure facilities in Levi with a fantasy sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, living room, fully equipped kitchen, and wine cellar with Champagne well.

 

The living and dining area boasts traditional furnishings, an open fireplace, and a beautiful dining table seating eight. Arriving in Lapland
Your plane descends towards Kittilä Airport, and you get your first glimpse of the winter wonderland where you’ll spend the next few days. As you step off the plane, you catch your first breath of the cold, clean air as you are welcomed by your personal guide, who will look after you during your stay. Your first stop will be at our airport-based private lounge to get your winter clothing that will keep you warm and dry the coming days. You’ll emerge into the cold air, wearing our comfortable, Arctic-proofed gear, ready for adventure. When leaving the airport, an exclusive car will whisk you away on a 20-minute drive into the Arctic wilderness, where the warm fire of your villa awaits. During your stay, your meals will be prepared by your very own private chef, so you can relax and enjoy the Christmas spirit.

Searching for the Northern Lights with your Guide
After a welcome meal, your guide will take you out to introduce you to the region. The children will learn to make snow lanterns and build a snowman to decorate your chalet. You’ll get on the snowshoes and toboggans, that will be available for you to use for the entire duration of your stay. Once we’re comfortable with our Arctic transport, your host will take you out in hunt of the Northern Lights, and show you the best places to spot the phenomenon. During your stay your host will also keep an eye on the Northern Lights activity, and alert you at any time, should our skies be dancing.

Local Meals Prepared by a Private Chef

Shaman Experience and Juomustus
You will settle down comfortably on reindeer skins in the kota (Lappish tepee) and let the campfire tune you into the atmosphere. The Shaman tells about the magical atmosphere of Lapland, of gnomes, Northern Lights, of Lappish nature and lastly endows the travellers with good luck dedicating them the magical circle of Lapland. When the Shaman leaves, the fisherman takes his place and takes you on to the lake in a beautiful winter landscape. ”Juomustus” is an ancient form of winter fishing, which has been used for centuries in Lapland. Before heading for the fishing nets, you are told how the nets can be inserted under the ice and what tools are required. We check the nets together and the prey instinct of even firsttime visitors is bound to awake when the nets cork-line vibrates in their hands and soon the silvery whitefish glints in the ice hole. Usually beautiful whitefish are caught in the lake. After the exiting fishing experience it’s time for a coffee in the kota. You can enjoy your drinks accompanied with exciting legends by the master story-teller by a warm campfire.

Skiing in Levi
Levi is winter sports paradise and has something for every taste. During the day you will have time to do skiing, either traditional Finnish winter sport, cross country skiing or downhill skiing. Levi, where you will be staying, is Finland’s biggest ski resort and has 43 ski slopes and a network of tracks totalling 230 kilometres in length. 28 kilometres of tracks in the Rakkavaara area are also illuminated for late time skiing. All tracks of Levi are suitable for both classic and free technique. Levi’s location north of the Arctic Circle, it offers snow cover for 7 months and excellent chances of seeing the Northern lights. In Levi area, you will be breathing the purest air in the inhabited world. According to the measurements carried out by WHO, the purest air can be found on the Sammal fell, where the particle contact is less than 4μg/m3. So take a lot of deep breaths. You can also bottle some air if you wish!

Snowmobiling in the Wilderness
A snowmobile ride is a highlight of any Arctic adventure, and not to be missed. After a brief introduction to safety and the controls of the snowmobiles, it’s time to set off on our state-or-art snowmobiles for your tailor-made excursion into the wild. Through forests and over hills packed with snow, you’ll drive deep into the wilderness where not many have been. You’ll get the chance to let rip across a frozen lake and experience the speed, the freedom and the adrenaline rush that can only be had when these thrilling machines roar over the snow. While a driving licence is needed to operate a snowmobile, children and those without licences get to enjoy being pulled along in a sleigh. Adults and older children can also share a snowmobile with the driver as you ride through the beautiful snowy landscapes.

Husky Farm Visit and Dog Sledding
Are you ready to meet adorable husky dogs and feel the thrill of speed as you slide through the glittering snow? At the husky farm, you’ll meet the dogs, their excited barks filling the air. You are provided with all the necessary equipment, and taught how to drive a team of dogs. With the rest of the family safely wrapped up in warm furs in the sleigh, you set off! As you slide through the snow and into the wilderness, the barking of the dogs subsides, and all you can hear is the pounding of paws and the sound of the sledge on the snow. Standing on the runners, by placing your weight, the dogs turn, and you are entirely in the moment. The white and magical landscape slips by as the dogs pick up speed. Their joy at pulling the sleigh is contagious, and you see broad, happy smiles on everyone’s faces. Afterwards you will have time to pet the dogs, and enjoy hot drinks by a camp fire in a cosy, Lappish ‘kota’ building.

Visit a Local Reindeer Farm and Sleigh Rude
It’s time to meet the local natives, the reindeer. Your driver will drive you through a snowy landscape, surrounded by never ending wilderness, until you arrive to the magical home of reindeer. After meeting the reindeer herder, you will hop on the sleigh. Warmly wrapped and tucked in the sleigh, you start a journey in the forest. The reindeer will pull you through the forest and introduce you to the life of a reindeer. You will arrive to a Lappish kota where the reindeer herder is waiting for you. While you enjoy a delicious warm drinks by an open fire, you will hear fascinating stories about the life in Lapland that evolves around the reindeer.

Snowshoeing in the Woods
Snowshoeing is an easy and excellent winter exercise that relieves stress and makes your skin glow. It’s also a wonderful way to enjoy the quietness while spotting animal tracks or admiring the snowy scenery. Snowshoeing allows you get off the beaten track and discover places that are not accessible on foot. Due to the shape of snowshoes you won’t sink into the snow. Snowshoeing is suitable for everyone, and you can do it either daytime or at night gazing at the stars. Hear the soft crunch of fresh snow beneath your feet and feel the crisp air on your face. Strap your snowshoes, let the stress slip away and enjoy the magic of nature!

Ice Karting
There’s nothing more fun than drifting on ice and snow! Winter go-karts will give you a speedy ride on the icy track. Ice karting is available for everyone who can reach the pedals (approximately 140 cm) regardless of age. No driver’s license is required. Feel the excitement and have a great time on safe icy tracks by driving karts equipped with special tires and compete against time, other drivers or yourself. Ice karting is a perfect way to have high-speed fun. Let the challenge begin!

Northern Lights Hunting
Follow your guide on a different kind of snowmobile adventure to the nature where only moonlight and the snowmobile’s headlights will light your way. You will be surrounded by the forests and lakes that are rising like mysterious shadows towards the sky. Enjoy the ride through the snow-covered landscapes and take a break to look at the sky. It is so quiet you can hear the silence, as we make a stop in the forest overlooking Northern sky. We’ll make a fire to keep us warm and enjoy some snacks and warm drinks, ready for nature’s own show.

Sámis are the only indigenous people in EU, living in the Northern most regions in the Nordic Countries. Their culture is very rich and ancient with full of stories of living side by side with nature. Sámi´s has their own language and singing way, Joik. During this experience you will get to known about Sámi culture and their language but also you hear enchanting joik performance.

Guided Tour of the Snow Village
Each year, around 20 million kilos of snow and 350 000 kilos of crystal clear natural ice are used to build the spectacular Snow Village which changes in shape, size and design to amaze visitors year after year. Covering an area of about 20 000 square metres, the SnowVillage consists of a Snow Hotel, with snow rooms and suites, Ice Restaurant, Ice Bar and Ice Chapel.

Dinner at the Ice Restaurant
